Help with new rifle choice.

The seekins is really appealing. Another considering would be Savage UL Elite. MSRP is $3200 but street price likely lower. Proof barrel, MDT chassis, savage accutrigger, is a pretty amazing combination for accuracy at a weight < 6lbs.

Of the ones you or others have spoken of, I have a tikka t3 in 270, Christensen arms ridgeline fft in 300wm and weatherby vanguard in 338 win mag.

They have all done the job but each has diff qualities. The weatherby is a pretty wooden rifle, it’s what I would call the Mercedes diesel of the pack. Just smooth and reliable. I wanted to put it in the back of the safe bc it’s damn heavy and long and it was not easy to swing on moving deer and seems to me more like a long range , slowwwww down and we got time kinda rifle. Like sitting on a western mountain top after sliding off your horse and glassing.
My Christensen arms would be the sports car of the group, but like a modified high end corvette or Supra. Damn reliable but has all the features. Super light, pretty, swings well, easy to pack, I absolutely love it , hands down. It’s my pride and joy of bolt guns and shoots better than it looks.

The tikka would be the pickup truck of the three, the old back to the future toyota or a mechanical injected diesel 1 ton. Just friggin works. For its price I think it’s the best value and punch of the three. Fairly light, ridiculously accurate. Great trigger and smoooth action. I don’t worry about scratching it up, it’s the worker of the crew but it isn’t any less accurate being as all three rifles are probably more accurate than me.
