I have an AGC Bino Harness that I live other than having to constantly retighten the straps.

What can I do to get these locked up and not slipping? I have a hunt that I leave for on Wednesday so I need something quick and easy. Yes I know I procrastinated but up till now I was ok with just dealing with the issue

Long term...locking buckles

Short term...put a stitch behind the buckle, attaching the 2 pieces of webbing together.

I swapped mine out for auto locks from Kifaru and haven’t had to readjust them for the past year, best mod I have done to gear thanks to others on this site recommending it.

AGC sells auto lockers now you can order. Short term what I have done is roll up the slack in the straps and tape them, I used electrical tape but athletic tape would work and I'm sure some others would work too. It lasted me about 8 months I think before it fell off and they started loosening up again.

I swapped three of the four original buckles out for ladder lock buckles. They stay put, and the save weight and bulk.

Maybe I’m a little slow. Will someone post a picture showing how they doubled back through the buckle?

Then I probably shouldn’t say I tried for 45 minutes to double it back through before realizing the buckle was smarter than me.

And for clarification I’m talking about the straps that go around your sides that don’t have the additional hardware like the ones that come vertical from your shoulders.

Here is how I did it. I also slide the web keepers over the buckles to keep them from rattling. fullsizeoutput_664.jpgfullsizeoutput_662.jpgfullsizeoutput_663.jpg

I changed them out to ITW nexus split-bar ladderlocs... after maybe 20-30 days in the field no issues. I also did this becuase I'm rather short (5'7") and this raised it up to my upper chest area where I wanted it.
