Not that I'm a Grizz hunter myself, but I think we should protect our rights to do so here in British Columbia. This is just the start, what else will they try to stop us from hunting? *And what populations might decrease due to our losing our part in predator control... Think goats and sheep and...

Agreed. its funny most of these people that are going to the press about stopping the hunt are eco tourism fanatics.

3 grand for a 3 day grizzly viewing excusion. Anyhow, Our grizz population is growing evey year. We now have over 16000 grizz in our province and we have take just over 300 hunting. Its ridiuculous, please let this guy know how you feel.

As Redmtn mentioned, anyone can sign it. If the lobbyists against grizzly hunting convince the politicians, it essentially means an end to the hunt in BC for EVERYONE; this means guided hunts for non-BC residents as well.

Saw it on FB last week and signed then. It's ridiculous. Too bad most people didn't realize that hunters and the money they spend does more for "ecology" and conservation than any other group. Hope it ends up well for those in BC.
