I would still put the drain in. They will have to cut a trench through your concrete floor to get to the closest drain pipe but it will be worth it in the long run. It’s not a huge deal to cut through your concrete unless you have heated floors. Then it’s not possible

Hell I'm wanting to see the finished house. Obviously it's going to be nice, congrats on the new crib and gun room. I never want to build another house if we can help it.

I have drilled under the slab to the outside of the foundation before. You would only have to cut a hole in the floor.
