Gents,

I need some help. I just bought a new No Cam Mathews and have no idea how to properly sight in my Spot Hogg Hogg-It sight. My last bow had it installed by a buddy of mine who lives out of state. I am familiar with all the various adjustments, but am unsure how to get the sight set to where it should be. I have installed the sight properly according to their directions, but determining where the pin housing unit should sit on the arm and so forth is a complete blank for me. I now how to adjust the sight. but setting it up is a whole different story.

any help is much appreciated.

thanks,
d

Hey, I just recently sold my hogg it that I had used for a while, but I think I can still recall a thing or two about it ;). It can be tricky to get perfect the first time but after you set it up, it is money for good. Very solid sight.
First off, I would set your top pin where you want it (if its a 7 pin then go pretty close to the top) and set the pin guard in the exact middle of the elevation adjustments on the sight arm(2 allen screws that clamp the pin guard onto the arm). Then stand 6-10 feet from your target and shoot an arrow. If its pretty close with your top pin, then make any further elevation adjustments with the gang micro adjust rather than moving the entire housing via the pin guard attachment screws on the sight arm. If its way off, then take out the 2 allen screws and chase the arrows with the entire pin guard, one set of holes at a time.

Hope this helps.
