I have a athlon spotting scope, a mini tripod I use at the range and in my pack, and a larger tripod for base camp.

My spotting scope fits on the mini tripod but not the larger one. Different adapter thing.

I’d like to be able to fit my spotting scope on both tripods.

I don’t know chit about tripods and heads and nothing about any of this stuff.

How can I do this cheaply. My chronograph also fits on the larger tripod,,,,,just screws on. Seems like the larger tripod is more universal but I don’t know. It would be nice if the chrono could continue to fit the larger one too.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It appears the plate on the spotter is an Arca Swiss plate that will fit on the bottom tripod in your post, not the middle one that has a dedicated plate

Yes, correct. How do I make spotter fit the middle tripod?

You take the plate off your spotter and put the one from the middle tripod on there.

You can’t have it both ways. You should get an ARCA clamp for the middle tripod. ARCA is the standard. That middle one is some proprietary manfroto adapter or something.
