My ADHD has me wanting to build or purchase a new rifle. I want a 16in 308, folding stock for MS whitetail hunting. Trying to stay under 2K if possible. After purchasing a Tikka last year I have been kind of hooked on them. The other day at the gun store I played with a Sig cross and it seemed nice and lightweight. My Tikka idea, is buying a roughtech ranch 308 and dropping it in a Seekins folding stock. I guess my question is, is their any other options that will give me just as good or better accuracy and lightweight as the two guns I mentioned? Thanks.

What's the point in spending the money for a folding stock in that use?

If I were going with a folding stock, I would just get the hnt26 from MDT. EuroOptic has a few 16" .308 in stock.

I ride my bike to most hunts. I love having the rifle in my Eberlestock Gunrunner 2 pack. I purchased a Shield Arms folding lower and built a nice AR15 rifle in 6ARC and 22 ARC. I NEVER use the folder and it just adds weight. With that said. I could see why climbing a tree it would help. I love that Sig Cross Sawtooth! That's what I would consider. Good luck!

I ran down to the gettin place a while back, with every intention of leaving with a Sig cross. I was shocked at how cheap it felt. Needless to say, I didnt leave with the thing.

I stuck one on an AR. That thing was going to be badass. Think I mighta actually folded the thing up once or twice :ROFLMAO:
