I picked this call up recently at a garage sale for $2 thinking it might be a cow elk call. There isn't a manufacturer's name on it and so far I can't find any info on it. It needs a little work but no idea where to look. Anybody know what it is and who made it? Thanks!!20210509_105358.jpg20210509_105332.jpg20210509_105317.jpg

What kind of sounds do you get out of it? I would have guessed it was a coyote call. Does the dial spin and adjust the sound?

It's very possible it's some sort of predator call but the latex needs replacing and the dial appears to have a broken piece that it slides into. Turning the dial doesn't change the sound at all. The only sound I can get from it at this point is a very weak raspy rabbit type noise. Knowing the manufacturer might at least allow me to find a manual and to see if replacement parts are available.

I had one of those about 20 years ago. I think it was actually a turkey call, but i may be mistaken. It was a gimmicky call pitched as an alternative to diaphragms, that I remember for sure.

I guess that wouldn't surprise me because I bought 2 calls at the same time and other one was an old turkey box call. I don't hold out much hope for the mystery call but the box call sounds sweet so it was still a couple of bucks well spent!

MTPipeliner, Outstanding!!! I've spent so much time on the computer trying to figure it out. Thank you, thank you!!

You bet. I’ve got a cold today so I’m just sitting in the recliner surfing the internet. Hope you’re able to get it working.
