Help finalize the "Dixie Zipper" (Mini CBK) for a group buy

Mine arrived yesterday also. Not sure I'll have anymore animals this year other than birds. But it'll get used a little.

Don’t be afraid to use it in the kitchen.
I dressed a brisket and turkey last week with mine just because I really prefer it over my kitchen knives.

Gotta say thanks for getting me my couple of DZ’s. In Kansas with them now.
No deer work yet but they worked beautifully on a few quail.
My son carries his all day and wears it like a trophy lol.

Just got confirmation the orange pancake sheaths are finally shipping to me.

I will have all knives out this weekend if it kills me.

I will NOT have the Orange G10, which sucks. But, I am reaching out to all you, and will figure something out. You will have one for Christmas as promised, if you want it.

My current plan for options is:

1) Ship them with a different handle now, and send the G10 for you to put on when they come in. If you send the other handles back, would be appreciated, but if you kept them no biggie. $30 gift certificate.

2) Wait until the knife is done. $50 gift cert to LS.

3) Refund of full price, plus shipping, plus $25.

Well, it looks like cold fat sticks to it just like every other knife
Got to gut and process an elk with it. I’m a huge fan. It does zip through hide, holds an edge well, sharpens super easy and stuff washes off the slippery blade finish well.
I got the black pancake sheath and love how you can pop it out with your thumb on top. My new favorite fidget spinner.

FYI, some time in January, I am going to release blems for purchase to initial Dixie buyers by email. Then, after a few days post for followers of the thread here. It will be on a hidden link, so only people who know can get one.

I really love mine. I think I am going to have to order 2 more and put my MKC knives in the classifieds.

If I wanted an Orange G10 is it easier for you if we order it now and just wait (Im in no rush at all) or wait until you are getting the parts in and place the order?

Also what are your thoughts on the micarta vs g10 for a knife thats main job is cutting up animals. My gut says it stays cleaner but Im not really sure thats fully true. I know I like Micarta better for general use, just not sure for this.
