Help finalize the "Dixie Zipper" (Mini CBK) for a group buy

My handle guy ran this one in orange/black, and tempted me into buying some… hadn’t planned on it, but it looks so cool. I can’t help myself…

The handle fitment is perfect on the blade. Loving it come together.

There is an orange green option right now, and it looks like this but zombie green inside of black.

Orange black isn’t in the online change form yet, but it’s gonna be an option in a couple hours.

Sheath update.

I have confirmed that both taco and pancakesheaths can be configured to be carried in vertical or horizontal carry. A accessory clip will be necessary depending on your choice.

Yes, there will be some extras. I will be updating the current product listing with all the options.

Later today or tomorrow you will be able to select and buy a knife with all of the options I have made a available.

Eventually, I will also have a handful “blems” that don’t have perfect lasering on them or the sharpening doesn’t look clean enough, but otherwise they are perfectly functional. They will get built and listed after the preorders go out. Plan on those before or on Black Friday at the latest.

Submit a new form is fine, I am printing everything and grouping with the printed orders I already have stacked. So, if you note that you want disregard the first form, its all good.

I like doing cool things, and there’s enough personal preference and philosophy of use differences that make it fun to hear opinions.

There is no perfect knife, but this one checks a lot of boxes in the right way.

Once I get this one worked out, @Dixie has a neck knife that has me thinking about the next project…

Yes, that's the one. I have liked to use small blades for a while now. I carry the mini bugout folder.

I am also thinking of a little different blade shape for a more universal application, the nesmuk style. It still have features like the modified CBK that Dixie and I worked out.

Another thing that I want to keep is the grip angle and handle configuration. I know that its out of the ordinary, but considering hand/wrist ergonomics, it just works. We notice is "feels different" when just handling it. But, in use it is comfortable.

I think that is what @Bluumoon experienced. One of his posts says that it didn't feel as nice just handling it, but it "went away" when he was using it. And, he did not get hand fatigue. Does that seem accurate bluumoon?

Correct. I didn’t love the way it sat in the hand just picking it up, however when using it wasn’t even a thought (in a good way).

Currently waiting on some friends to come shoot a couple does, will hopefully be putting the knife to use again this am.
