Help - budget base layers

Hi all I’m looking for some ideas for budget synthetic base layer top and boxers or briefs.

for a top I’m considering ECWCS polypropylene but not having a lot of luck finding them so looking for other options

id like something for several day trips for mild weather

Not polypropylene, but pretty reasonable. There are bottoms too.

I just got a Condor top and for the price it's pretty darn nice.

I really like the paradox dri release. It’s a merino blend. I wear the long sleeves as single layers running down into the 20s and as a base hunting down into the teens. I bought a fancy merino blend expensive shirt this year also, and these are just as good.

Sorry, I should have clarified. It's the one mentioned above, Condor Base II Zip Pullover. About $20 on Amazon. Fleece not merino so could do the trick!

My boys and I picked up some Plythal from Camofire for around 25 bucks. Best ones I have had in a long time.

keep an eye on Sierra Trading Post too for merino or synthetics.

Look at eBay also, as much as I hate to say it, there are some decent deals from time to time that pop up there. truspec.com also has decent prices.

I found a Helly Hansen and some other name brand layers on eBay, cheap. Just takes some time and searching.

Ya I prefer synthetic, have a few different merino shirts

I have some Hanes dri-fit poly t shirts that work well. They’re incredibly cheap and do dry quickly.
