I hear ya @DamnRinella I'm also Schedule for my 1st Western hunt and Colorado at 2nd rifle. Being a Southern boy makes it tough to justify the expense on such high priced gear. This is a good deed that @Roughout is doing. Any leftovers I would happily accept

I'm just starting hunting as well, but think I'm ok on gear for now. Im responding because sometime in the last few months someone posted on here about having lost their and thir kids gear in some of the huge fires in CA last year. Anyone have that thread watched by any chance? otherwise ill dig and edit it into this post.

Wow hunters are good people. I just went through a great experience in a very similar deal on another archery sight. Some gentlemen sent a couple young hunters new bows that were in difficult family situations. I know the young man I was helping out is fired up and can’t wait for hunting season to chase deer with his new setup. Great to see you guys trying to help out with what you can. Good on you fellows.

This is awesome. If I was hunting this year I would be all over this. I honestly cant afford to hunt this year and clothing/gear is one of things i just couldn't afford. Next year ill be out there though.

Did you find someone? If so I have a couple articles of clothing that I would contribute if they would fit.

Sorry gang, not long after this post I involved in an accident that put a hitch in my get a long. I have not shipped, my wife and I have quite a few items boxed going to different fellows hopefully this weekend. Had some great folks send me messages.

Are good hunting pants worth it over a pair of wrangler outdoor vinyl pants? I take it you only need 1 pair of outer pants for the whole hunt.
