Hells Canyon Magazines not engaging retention spring

I ordered two Hell’s Canyon Armory magazines for a tikka build in 6.5 PRC. The mags will not engage the mag catch at all. I can set them in as far as I can get them and they pull right out. The mag release does not move into the “engaged” position. Other after market mags and the factory mag engage just fine. This is new bottom metal, but is not listed on the HCA website as not compatible.

Anyone else have this problem? Any suggested fixes?
