How about the HC Long Horn kinda plays off the logo. Or the HC Taipan, it would be a reference to the snake river and it's one of the deadliest snakes out there. They look awesome, great to see a local guy produce top notch stuff. I wanna shoot one someday.

Canyon Crosser

I'm thinking of running a 24" barreled 338 Norma mag and seeing what kind of speeds I can push those 300's at. It was designed specifically around a 26" barrel and is the most efficient 338 chamber on the market right now. Getting close to lapua speeds with MUCH less powder and a shorter/fatter case.

You'll get the same speed Mike. Al's got some N570,n165, and ramshot mag I gave him a while back, I got 24# of r33 I'm going to start testing in the 338NM. Use winchester mag primers if u have them with he ramshot powder. The n570 save for the longer barrels.

Good to see you on here C.K.! I have been using the Fed magnum primers with both Ramshot as well as H1000. With a 27" barrel we were gettin just over 2800 fps. 89 grains of H1000 or 92 of RSM... I will be down to Al's later this week should try and 'borrow' some of that 570 from him!

The river names might be good to. They could be one of ther rivers coming out of Hell's Canyon.

I'm really enjoying the names guys keep it up! We're hopefully not far away from updating the website with a designated page for the rifles so I'll have to pick a winner here soon! What do you guys think of the "Purgatory Rifle"...?

Also we are exploring options for a full titanium custom action/bolt. Should get our total weight at or under 7 lbs!!! Not going to be cheap but it'll be pretty phenomenal for it's packability as well as long range capabilities! It'll still be cheaper than the "nicest" carbon barreled guns out there on the market right now... With titanium action and muzzle brake you're looking at around $4599 for the complete rifle.
