Was group A your first string and were the 2 holes touching your first two shots? I ask this, and before you get all hurt I ask because I have done this and have seen it done, because I'm wondering if it's you or maybe a hot barrel. Are you sure your not flinching just a bit or jerking the trigger, if the two touching shots were your first I would say you started to get recoil jumpy and like you stated you don't target shoot so I assume you probably don't shoot a lot or at least shoot big calibers a lot.
From 35 years of reloading and helping others develop a good load for there firearms I have learned that a lot of these so called bad loads or problem rifles are really shooter error. Yep most guys finally find a good load for the rifle after quite a few rounds down range but is the load really all that better or did all them rounds down range improve there shooting?
I used to take my hunting rifles to the range to check sight in and think the load must not have been as good as I though due to the group size, come back a week later and the same load would punch a one hole group. I shoot more often now so I don't have as many of these days but there are still a few days when I walk away shaking my head in disgust at my shooting ability.
Why don't you load up 20 or so rounds from the group c target and just go shoot them, see what a larger sample size does and really focus on trigger pull and shooting form.
I also use a
PAST Recoil Pad when shooting larger calibers. When shooting my 7mm RM at about 10 rounds I have had enough recoil but with the sissy pad I can shoot it all day. There are some days I will shoot 100 rounds out of calibers from 308 to 375 H&H and I don't notice any recoil effects. Kind of funny how my shooting buddy's gave me a bunch of crap about my sissy pad until they tried it and now when they set down to shoot they almost demand the use of it.
