I've done plenty salmon, trout, steelhead fishing and only one hunt with a cousin in Missouri. I always wanted to learn and get into hunting, just didn't have any guidance. Excited to attempt hunting Elk!

As the self-appointed chairman of the welcoming committee, it is my privilege to extend a laurel, and hearty handshake (virtual, of course) to our new member.

I'm in Kent. Always looking to learn and currently getting into working out and training. The only exercise/workout I've consistently gotten in the last 5 years was basketball once or twice a week, and prior to that, I used to go hiking about every other weekend. But I am starting to work out core muscle groups for now and trying to fix my diet.

Welcome. I'm near Kent, Maple Valley area. And I own property in Missouri and hunt there almost every year. And elk hunting here is somewhat of a brain scatter.

That's nice. I can go to Missouri and hunt with cousins it I want. They have plenty spots and have been doing it all their lives so I'm in good hands there... But I rather stay and learn to hunt here for now

Is the offer still open? I’m in Puyallup.

I went out for rifle Eastern WA elk hunts three seasons now and still working toward my first harvest. Picked up a bow this spring, no concrete plan yet. Learning all I can without a family member/friend as a mentor.

Choosing weapon, choosing what side of the state to hunt, spike only most of the East, different on the west, and then the special permit process, multi-season drawing, I could go on. Every spring in makes my brain hurt.
