Hello, have Tikka questions.

Hello guys, I am new around here, I have noticed that there are a lot of Tikka fans on this forum.

I have recently acquired a Tikka T3 300 WSM in a MDT LSS chassis as part of a trade.

I would like to expand on this rifle build, but will want to replace the barrel first.

I am curious as to what other people think of the LSS with a 24” barrel? I am kind of torn on it being to short for that length of barrel.

I have also seen that some of you guys are rocking the WSM in a 22” barrel around here.

Is this to just make it shorter for a silencer?
Could some of you share what kind of velocity you are seeing in your 22” 300 WSM barrels?

If you rebarrel, would you keep it as a 300 WSM?

That is the plan, I am not a huge fan of the factory barrel profiles. But I like the cartridge.
