Long time lurker, first time joiner. I’ve been hunting big game for over 40 years but learn something new every day. I just picked up a Tikka T3x in 6.5 Creedmoor and blame it on you guys and gals. I wanted something in a more common caliber since my Marlin 336 in .35 Remington and Winchester model 70 featherweight in 7mm WSM aren’t the easiest rifles to find ammo for these days. To those that reload and are about to tell me I need to do the same, please PM me your phone number. My wife would like to speak to you about encouraging me to take on another hobby since the 3,469 I already have obviously isn’t enough. Anyway, I’m looking forward to joining the discussions here and hopefully contributing to the forum.

Welcome aboard.

Regarding reloading, it's just one hobby and would bring you up to 3470. 3470/3469 x 100% = .03% How can your wife quibble about such a miniscule increase?

As the self-appointed chairman of the welcoming committee, it is my privilege to extend a laurel, and hearty handshake (virtual, of course) to our new member.

Welcome fellow Tennessean, joining this forum and bought a 6.5 creedmoor…. It’s a slippery slope. Lots of info here. Before long you will be spending 4 weeks out west chasing mule deer and then she will really be upset.
