Hello from Illinois

Hi all, I've been lurking for some time and enjoy the atmosphere here much more than other hunting forums so I thought it worth making an introduction. I'm from Chicago's western suburbs and primarily hunt whitetail and small game on a mix of public and private land in Illinois. Although I've hunted small game and farmed pheasant most of my life I have only recently got reacquainted with deer hunting after more than 10 years away from it, so I am doing a lot of catch-up. I am in the early stages of planing my first hunt out west and have found this site an excellent resource so far.
