First off I'm really glad to find this place!! I'm from NW AR. 30y/o I try to stay in the woods as much as possible. I had the opportunity to live in Colorado near Telluride for a summer and in Western Alaska for another summer as a fly fishing guide. I mess around with bush craft stuff in the woods when I can. One of my friends own Sigma 3 Survival and has showed me a few things. I hunt everything you can in AR. I've got a custom built traditional bow that I've managed to kill 2 deer with so far.
What I'm looking for is people that have knowledge about backpack hiking hunting. I've never really just gone out there with a pack and stayed a few days hunting, I've always had the truck near by. I plan to do some solo hunts this year he in AR for whitetail, prob w a rifle. One day I'd love to get out west and use my bow for elk.
I've got a Kifaru Molle Express on the way with a pod and some long pockets. Hopefully that will be big enough for 1-3 day outings. I didn't want a big pack that I would rarely use, so I went with one of the smaller ones for now.
