Yeah, it's pretty wild. Most people don't realize that helium is a non-renewable resource. Any helium released into the atmosphere literally just rises through the atmosphere and then get's kicked out to space!

As for using it to pack out an elk. 6ft diameter weather balloons can barely lift a pound. This guy has an air filled backpack for comedy.
