Helical or offset?

Just got a new fletch in tool and my old one is offset but the new is helical. I just fletched up some tonight with helical and am going to do some shooting to see if there's is any differences. Anyone know what the difference is between the two?

Offset the vane is straight and running semi parallel to the shaft. Helical the vane wraps around the shaft more. Not just straight. This pic is a helical from the back
