Has anyone ever used any of the HECS suits? I borrowed one from my dad to take in Sept. But have never used them. Have seen and read all the testimonials and the sound killer, but was wondering about any first ha d experiences. They seem very lite and packable

They debunk their whole premise by calling it faraday technology. Faraday suits work to block you from getting electrocuted so long as it completely covers you with not even a nick in the fabric. The hecs suit has eye, arm and leg holes. So automaticity it’s not faraday technology.

I thought about it and then I remember the past: The Flying Lure, The Helicopter Lure, Banjo Minnow (was pretty sweet), ANYTHING by Ron Popeil, oh yes.....the flavor wave oven I still have. I have always been a gadget guy, but I finally had to draw the line with the HECS suit. Just seems too good to be true. I would rather just play the wind and stand still.

I'm a HECS agnostic, don't know that it does work, don't know that it doesn't, but what you're saying here isn't correct and shows a lack of understanding of what they mean by "Faraday technology. You can read to your hearts content in the "faraday cage" entry on wikipedia, but long story short, it blocks electromagnetic fields with varying degrees of effectiveness, depending on things like the frequency of the waves, the size of the conductive mesh of the cage, whether the cage has holes that are significantly larger than the wavelength of the signal being blocked, etc. That part is not in question scientifically speaking. There has been some research on animals' ability to perceive and respond to electromagnetic fields, but I'm not aware of anything conclusive for cervids and don't have any interest in buying a suit from HECS.

All u have to do is wear a HECS suit and they will slit their own throats as they load into the back of ur truck. Not sporting but extremely effective.

Thx for making me laugh!

I’ve heard they circle downwind, then once they have you located they stampede in to you, running over everything in their path to get to you first.

Only way I hunt elk..... We put on our Hex, set up a card table in a big alfalfa field, I bring the cards and my two buddy’s usually bring a 12 pack of Budweiser. We play cards and drink beer out in the field until an elk shows up then we flip a coin to see who gets first shot as soon as the elk get to within 100 yards. Love em !!
