I just bought the Petzl Myo RXP2.

This thing is bright as can be and is also really light weight. I run 3 Lithium batteries in it and the run time is insane. I run it on high 99% of the time and I put in 2-4 days a week in the field and I haven't changed the batteries yet. I've been using it for 3 months now.

I had a cabelas model, way heavy and sucked batteries like none other. I got a princeton tec last year (not sure the model) I'm super pleased with it. Super light, runs 3 AAA lithiums, compact, 4 different brightness modes, batteries last forever, I think the brightest is 100 lumens which is plenty in my opinion and it was $40.

THat is actually a awesome headlamp. I ran that for 2 yrs without issue. Just upgraded a little with the newer one. The battery pack fit on the back was what I didn't like on it. Just didn't sit right for me. My buddy bought it from me and fits him great. For the money I think its a great option.

Everyone seems to lean towards the peitzel brand but I have the cabelas alaskan guide version. Like most of my stuff - a little heavy but hasn't let me down yet and meets your brightness specs. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-Alaskan-Guide-XP-Green-Headlamp-by-Princeton-Tec/1438747.uts

Energizer. Red, flood, spot, spot/flood, strobe. $14.88 at Walmart. 3 AAA batteries, same batteries as other electronics.

I've had a few of the Black Diamond spots and while I do like em, I really want a Zebra light.

I take two Petzyls. Great little lights. The one I use mainly has an option for red light for those early morning walks before daylight.

Well since no one else has said it - I am on my 3rd Princeton Tec and I have liked them all. Still have the first (Quad) but decided to upgrade to the Remix this spring because its smaller, lighter and brighter and it seems to be even better so far. Just picked up the Fuel for the wife and it seems to be a steal for the $20 I gave for it.
