It looks like the next four or five days could end up being pretty cold. Somewhat dry though. Anyone have any thoughts or experience on hunting bears in the spring when it's colder than usual?
I’m hoping it limits the green up so it narrows the places too look for bears. It may cause them to just keep napping. It looks like the next four or five days could end up being pretty cold. Where I am headed they have been out of hibernation for a quite awhile, I don't think they will reenter their dens but who knows. I hope not.I’m hoping it limits the green up so it narrows the places too look for bears. It may cause them to just keep napping.
Also, thanks for the replies.Well just got back from my bear hunt. 5 days in the backcountry. Not a single bear spotted this year. The pressure back in there has increased quite a bit the last 3 years. I need to find a new area I'm afraid.
