Zebra H600 for me as well. Already ran the 18650 batteries in several handheld torches so the evolution was logical for me.
A very long lasting power source.

Bwana, slick idea on the diy red lens cover.

Fenix HL60r is my go to light. uses 18650 battery has the red LED and its rechargeable from the Light housing. I can plug it directly to my battery charger backup to charge it at night. Can carry extra 18650 to replace if I need to use it a lot and its got 5 settings 5 to 950 Lumens and 1 Red light setting. Highly recommend it.

Black Diamond Storm goes with me everywhere. Once I learned how to use it and all the different configurations I love it. Also always carry an e-lite.

you guys think the Zebra light MK4 series is worth the $30 more then the MK2 series? 1100lumen vs 1400 for the spot and spill models.

I'd only spend more for the h600fc mk4 which has hi cri and less tint deviation. Otherwise I'd get mk2 in neutral white which is what I've been using for 3 years now. Max lumens isn't that important compared to tint, cri and beam profile.
