Anyone found a reasonably priced fluid head for digiscoping and video? I have a fuji xh1 on an atx 95 and the gitzo 2 way fluid head doesn't have enough counter balance or drag to stabilize a 6.5 lb setup. I ordered the benro s6 and it's better but just wondering if someone has found something they've been really happy with.

I am interested in finding the right head for my STX 95 as well. I have a Slim 834 but the current head doesn't support it.

The Sirui VA5 is the answer. Can handle the weight, it's arca swiss and if you look at the threads here VERY Popular on Rokslide.
If you saw my post from yesterday it's also 20% off Monday thru Saturday 2/20/21 if you call and mention Rokslide

That doesn't make any sense. How could the VA5 be the answer with a 6.6 lb load capacity and a 2.2 lb fixed counter balance, yet the benro s6 i am currently playing with has a 13 lb capacity and a 13 lb counterbalance, and it still feels slightly undergunned?

If you're wanting to put a camera on your 95 and have the counter balance truly work how it's supposed to I'm starting to think a person needs an 8kg (17.6 lb) stepped counter balance like the benro s8. This s6 is just about there, but I feel like it's falling a little short. I'm going to try to order a longer adapter rail to see if I can get the scope balanced a bit better. The counter balance works tilting forward but it struggles tilting backwards (looking up). The problem with the new pro series heads from benro is they're all a lot heavier. The old style s6 and s8 are physically lighter but I can't find an old style s8 anywhere except for ebay.

I have sold 100's of these and people have used it with the 95 module with a camera with no issues. Yes, it's rated 6.6 but they will always hold a couple of pounds more without any issues.
We also have the Gitzo 3 way fluid head that holds 28.6 Lbs. Retail is $519.99, we discount it to $489.99 and thru Saturday is 10% off that to $440.99
