Up for grabs is a Hawkins Precision M5 DBM bottom metal for a long action Remington 700 and clones. This is considered the “win mag” size listed at 3.715” (or 3.725 depending where its listed). Uses AICS type magazines. This was in a donor rifle I bought and is in great condition, but I have decided to go a different route. Action screws are not included. $165 shipped tyd. Payments accepted are Venmo, Paypal f&f, or cashiers check.IMG_5203.jpeg

Will this fit a Remington 700 BDL SS-DM from the mid 90's? It's a magnum with remington factory mags, so I don't think the action has feed rails since they are built into the detachable mags, but I would like to convert this to normal mags. Is that possible?

This is listed as OAL of 3.715 and a 300 PRC spec shows a max of 3.700. I believe the 300 PRC was designed to run in a regular magnum action so I see no reason a PRC would not work in this. I have not personally tried it, so I can not say for 100% certain. Im sure if you call Hawkins they will give you a positive answer and they are great to deal with.
