Hawkins hunter dbm vs Hawkins dbm

I am looking for a dbm to finish up my rifle build. I’m planning on having the rifle slung for the most part while hunting, or I’ll be prong with a bipod, so I’m not too worried about it being flush and carrying at the balance point, is one dbm better than the other? I will be running 5 rnd mdt mags

Interesting. I had to go watch their video. It will take an aics in the short action hunter dbm but not the long action. I wasn't aware of that in the short action. I have the long action.

I will say that in the long action Hunter DBM I have, you aren't going to accidentally drop a mag. In fact, I had trouble releasing it at first. The trick is to kind of slide your thumb up into it. Once you do it a few times it is no big deal.
