Haul road 3 season vs. 4 season tent

I'll be hunting off the haul road this august. Just curious if anyone has input on whether or not a guy needs a 4 or 3 season tent. Would like to do a 3 for weight reasons. I'm just unsure of it withstanding wind.

I used a BA fly Creek UL2 on that hunt for 9 days in 2013. Worked fine for me. One night was really windy and I set up a little bit too sideways instead of the foot end towards the prevailing wind. However I didn't have my upper guy outs staked out either. It did fine though.

Four season or a good three season. Depends on where you're at and where you can set up, but I've spent some time in Deadhorse and even in August, it can get gnarly for the wind and there is zero protection. Nothing like what a true 4 season is meant to withstand, but for sure enough to rip up a low-rent three season.

I was thinking along those lines. A high quality 3 season.
