Has anyone put a 28 Nosler in a Tikka action?

Hi there. I’ve got an idea and was curious if anyone has done it. I want to put a 28 Nosler barrel on a Tikka action. I was wondering if anyone has done it or any other large Nosler case in a Tikka action.



I plan to use the 160 class bullets primarily - 162 ELDM in specific.

If it doesn't fit the magazine or feed well you can always single feed

The UM Tikka bottom metal and mags should let you do this just fine.

He doesn't even need to do that. A factory 300wm/7rm magazine, bolt face and bolt stop will work. (buy a 300wm tikka and a new barrel)
The only reason some people don't is because of the 3.340 factory magazine limitation and I think just a bit longer than that due to action length. You can seat them a bit longer with a wyatts in a 700. But the nosler line of cartridges was designed around a standard long action.

Sure, just depends on if he wants to stick to SAAMI specs or not. If staying within specs, no change necessary
