Agree but double the price for the same thing. I think that what makes the Holiday that much better.

Climbed a few times with the Holiday using a hybrid setup. It does what it's supposed to, slim/trim, out of the way, lineman's works as it should, easy to rappel with. Works ok for leaning, not designed for sitting like a saddle...as expected.

I'll use it a lot this season. With a platform I'll use a saddle. With a stand/hybrid, I'll use the Holiday.

That Holiday harness looks slick. Similar to the Black Diamond I've been using but looks like it has lineman loops and a dedicated belay loop which are the only things the BD I have lacks.

I picked up one of the 8mm predator tethers from XOP this season and have been very happy with that as well.

Most people are using the dryad killdeer for a rock climbing style harness.

Not true unless recent history has changed the game. Metolius and Black Diamond ruled the roost for a long time, from the Oughts. My own choice was not as popular.

But I'll bet there are a lot more circa 2010 rock harnesses being used out there than the over-built KillDeer, which only appeared maybe eight or so years ago.
