I'm looking for a hard case to transport my Honda 2200 inverter generator in. I want to haul it on my hitch mount carrier so would like the case to be somewhat weather resistant to rain, road spray, etc. I'm looking for something other than a standard tote that won't deform when I snug a ratchet strap down on it.
Suggestions?

I don't have one, but have seen diamond tread aluminum boxes with generators in them. A local farm and ranch store or maybe Harbor Freight would be places I'd check.

Appreciate the replies.
I narrowed it down to a Dewalt 62 gal. Tough Chest and the Contico Pro Tuff Bin. In the end I went with the Dewalt Tough Chest because it was in stock at the local Runnings store. It's a little bigger than I intended, but the size allows me to fit the extension cord and gas container in with the generator. The lid also has a seal that should help keep dust and road spray out.
Time will tell.
