Hanwag Makra Combi GTX

Anybody run the hanwag makra combi gtx? Pros/cons?

My experience with Makras:

Pros: Comfortable, fit me well, and I have a hard time finding boots that work well for my feet.

Cons: They were only waterproof for about two months, then they leaked for me. The tread pattern sucks in mud as well.

I kept them because they fit me really well and I wear them a lot, just not when it's wet or snowy.

I got them this year. I feel like they are nice and lightweight compared to a full upper leather boot. They dont have as much support but that is expected. I have really enjoyed them and think they are worthwhile

There is a thread on here somewhere title “Hanwag: I’ve had better,” or something to that effect. Several people echoed the above comments. Fit well, but waterproofing did not last long at all. Kind of made me shy away from buying a pair.
