Hanwag fit compared to Zamberlan

I've been wearing the Zamberlan 980 Outfitters the last few years and while they fit pretty well and have worked alright, I am thinking about trying a pair the Hanwag Alaska GTX out as my next set of boots. Unfortunately no stores around me carry any that I can try on so I was hoping some of you have first hand experience with each boot. If any of you do I would love to hear about it.

I have Zamberlan 961 Guides and Hanwag Yukons. The Zamberlans are a 9 and the Hanwags are a 9.5. Most shoes I wear a 9.5. The Hanwags feel a little narrower especially in the heel. I like both boots so far. Hanwag has a pretty decent return policy, you can't wear them outside and have to pay for return shipping.

Ok that's good to hear because if anything my Zamberlans are just a touch loose in the heel at times.
