Hanwag Alverstone

Sierra has some of the Alverstones and a few other pairs of Hanwags right now. The Alverstones are 150 but can't get the link to work right on my computer.

This is far, far beyond a great deal. $150 for a $430 boot. And its the suggested wide version. Hanwag will put these on sale once or twice a year for $230, and even that is a great deal. For those of you that might not be interested in the Wide version......I don't wear wide in anything, except this boot. Seems like most people go a half size up and wide. Im not sure how anyone could wear the non-wide version unless you have extraordinarily narrow feet. I had the regular and sold them, I have the Wide and it might be my favorite boot. I picked up 2 pairs at that price.

I wear a 9.5 regular in every shoe and boot, except the lapponia and attiva mid, I wear a 9 and the Makra Combi a 10. This boot I wear a 10 wide.

If you're still looking for a Hanwag deal, I just bought two pairs of Alverstone 2s at the Fjallraven Store in Seattle for 136.00 a pair -- they had quite a few more in stock.

Clearing out everything GoreTex because of the pfas stuff.

Those aren’t wides. The non wides are narrow as hell

I'm in Canada and looking for the same thing - a 13.5 wide.
I typically wear a size 13 and standard width but according to Gohunt, "TheBootBowhunting" on this thread, and other reviews, I should go up 1/2 size and look for the wide version (for feet over 11cm in width). But that width measurement seems to apply to all sizes, which I'm not sure would be correct?
I do have narrow feet (11.6 cm wide), so maybe a standard width would fit? Anyone with experience with the fit able to pass along some advise?

Yeah the 13s run small in the alverstones. I tried them and the non wides. I have a normal width foot and the non wides were wayyy narrow.

I’m hoping they come back out with an Alverstonish boot once they get a new gore alternative…
