I'm looking at and considering both of these boots. I have different pros and cons that I have established through research and reviews, but I want to hear opinions/reviews/comparisons from people who have used both boots. So, if you have experience with these boots please let me know!

I’ve used both quite a bit. The Han Wag is definately more boot, but for me the Nevada is about as comfortable boot as you’ll find. For me the Nevada does not provide enough support on an extreme mountain hunt though ( sheep, goats). For a general purpose boot, you can’t beat the Nevada. If you’re planning on hunting the tough stuff you may want more boot like the Han Wag. The Han Wag is quite a bit stiffer.

I tried on the Nevadas and boy are they ever comfortable! My preference is medium weight hikers....similar to the Nevadas for all round use. I don't need the support of a full height boot and prefer 8 or 9" tall boots. I've had no problem at all with them on steep, rough mtn goat, sheep, and elk country. The soles and uppers on the Nevadas are plenty stiff enough for biting into super steep sidehills.

It's really nice having boots that are a chunk lighter weight for covering lots and lots of country! I also can stalk MUCH quieter in boots that aren't as stiff and heavy. I have a pair of Lowa Tibets that are taller and heavier...and are incredible boots but they sit on my shelf unless I want taller boots in deep snow.

I have the Alaska's and the Tatra Top GTX, I prefer the Tatra Tops myself. I like a stiff boot for getting around stuff. Also one of the most comfortable boots I have worn, but that is my personal opinion.

I appreciate the insight guys. I live out East in West Virginia, and have plans of using these boots both in the East and the west as a more all around boot. With that I want support but not too stiff a boot. Sounds like the Nevada will be a great option!

+1 on the Nevada. The most comfortable boot I’ve worn. No issues after two backcountry elk hunts. Get what fits your feet the best.
