Sold Hankins Custom Smokeless ML .45

I really hate to do this but i am listing my smokeless muzzleloader for sale. It is a hankins custom smokeless 45 cal. Mesa precision muzzleloader action with the bolt face designed for hankins ignition system. Brux 1:20 barrel 26" with hankins brake. Cerakote elite black paint job. Trigger tech trigger and AG composite bdl visigoth stock in coyote brown. This is the most accurate gun ive ever owned and the group below shows why. That group is an 8 shot group at 100 yards. I shoot imr 4198 71grains with a 303 grain pittman hardcore aeromax its right at 2800 fps. Will also include the modules with it. This muzzleloader is also capable of shooting blackhorn but i have never shot anything other than smokeless. Scope not included $3500 shipped.

Honestly i am not sure i would guess 10 lbs without the scope. Its got a stout barrel. Ive carried it in my gun bearer on my pack and it was comfortable.

The primers are in hankin ignition system primer modules. I use a large rifle magnum primer in the modules.

This rifle will shoot BH209 powder just as accurately and push those 303 Pittmans somewhere around 2475 fps with a 110 gr. By weight charge.

Are you including the bullet sizing die?

I can add it in since it's set. But I'm ordering another one at some point so I planned on keeping it.

Anyone who is unfamiliar with or doubts the accuracy of these rifles go to youtube and see them in action.. The builder is just up to road about an hour from me(KY) and builds some of the best custom rifles on the planet (Muzzle loader or otherwise)... He is a stickler for detail and an absolute perfectionist who takes a lot of pride in his work and you can rest assured that a rifle will not leave his shop until it meets his super high expectations.. GLWS..

Interesting thanks for that post. I have never heard of him and he’s within an hour of me also. Maybe a good option for gunsmith work without the risk of shipping.
