What are you all using to hang your bow while in a saddle? Cant use screw in hangers. Im using a HYS strap and a hero clip right now. It works “ok” but I dont love it. I knocked a rifle off of it last year and will eventually knock my bow off…

I use a very large S Biner with one clip taken out and taped up with kinesiology tape to deaden the sound.

The reason for the removed clip is that I missed out on a buck because of the retainer.

Sporting some local manufacturing I see...

Somewhat. I’ve known Dewayne since we were teenagers & shoot w/ him some. The risers are currently machined in PA.

God Bless.

I suspected you knew him.

Wasn't positive if they were manufactured in Christiansburg or PA, suspected PA.

I use a strap-on tree step that's shaped like a larger version of those cheap little screw in bow hangers

I've used this all season

This is exactly what I use. It took a few minutes of trial and error to get it to work how I wanted but I got it figured out. Now I set it up that way every time and like it well enough.

I still use a screw in Hawk arm. I don't think you'll do hard time for using one on public.

I use the HYS Strap and I use a large S Biner. I have removed one clip and cut down the length of the S biner on the side with the clip removed. It is still cut high enough so my bow won't fall off, but low enough I can easily bring my bow up and off of it if I need to shoot. I use the exact same S biner for rifle hunting and hang my rifle from the S biner by the sling.

The tag end of the loop on my tether that girth hitches to the trunk has an overhand knot which I use to hang my recurve. The knot sits between the string and limb.
Uses gear that I already have, is silent and works

Genesis 3d printing on a lightweight cam strap from the hw store. G3dP hooks on the other side of the strap, one for quiver and the other for my pack.

The saddle & pack combo worked again. This time with a rifle. Second load out, dropped the saddle stuff at the vehicle after the first hike out.

God Bless.

I used a qliptor for a while but I don't like how low it hung my bow. Took one side out of a S biner and trimmed some off and it has been working great. Still could knock it off but haven't had any issues yet. I did just order a G3D bow hanger and I'm gonna try that

I’m not sure if that link will work but I saw this video on YouTube. I don’t think it’ll work with my Hoyt quiver set up but anyone that’s using a detachable quiver that mounts with your sight (tight spot), it will. He’s got another video that shows how to work with kydex.
