Handloading TSS

Can start with a basic math conversion. If a guy was looking into reloading TSS....how many shells per pound can you make with one pound of TSS shot? Trying to simply begin a rough $ cost per shell average.

A 20 gauge upland load shows7/8 to 1 oz loads. Use 1 oz for simply math. Valu Tungsten is $92 for two pounds. 16 oz in a pound, that's not 32 shells for $92, plus hulls, powder, primer, wad is it?

Lot of duck loads of tss aren't but 1/2oz. Stuff is pretty effective. Depends on what you are looking for, but for upland hunting I can't think of anything but turkeys I'd launch an oz of TSS at.

Its gonna be $5 a shot. By the time you get hulls, wads, powder, primer, not including however you decide to load them IE be it a simple roll crimper for a drill or getting a press if you don't have one.

Depending on what you are looking for, might be better with HW15, HW13.

Damn....Roger's shows a Winchester non blend, true TSS for $479 per 100. I thought there should be at least a little savings for someone who wanted to roll their own.

Just non tox Upland and Waterfowl. An All Around legal load from Mallard to Chukar
