Can anyone post up a link to what you would consider good videos on handgun basics. Starting with proper grip, form and such. I know there are a ton out there but want to start with videos some of you seasoned shooters would recommend and not waste my time with any bad advice.

A few of the GMs have great fundamentals videos. I learned from the Bob Vogel DVDs back in the day and then just started competing. Hunter Constantine is worth a watch nowadays. Just don’t try to model your body movements on their jerky competition stuff. Focus on the way they present, grip, manage recoil, static target transition, etc.

Did you buy one of those pmr30's for your Alaska hunt? 😉

Search YouTube and watch anything they post…tons of fundamentals stuff if you search their name with grip or stance or fundamentals or whatever.

If you also enjoy the history of how shooting has evolved in addition to down to earth explanations, Jerry Miculek is entertaining, especially for revolver shooters, but he does it all. There are more good basic shooting videos now than ever, but you will quickly find there are many different types of shooting with different emphasis on different things, usually having to do with speed vs accuracy at longer distances. Just like shooting rifles, up close poor technique works, but as distance increases all the small things add up.
