What cal is your Sharps? Whos the maker? I have a 45/70 Business rifle made for me in the 80's its a Shilo/C. Sharps before they split up. Had an original 50/70 but sold it.

It’s a Chiappa 1874 (Quigley gun). It’s a 45-70.

Those are custom made ammo inserts. There’s a rifle builder up here called EM Precision who has those inserts made. They hold 220 rounds of medium sized cartridges. (.308, 6.5CM, etc.)
