Hey folks, I know a lot of us hunt with either a thumb trigger or hinge release, and I also know that the struggle to not loose the damn things is real. I wanted to share my solution for a cheap, quiet and secure way to carry a release on your bino harness.
This is a $10 single column molle pouch I found on Amazon. I added the bungee loop and made the hook from kydex, and trimmed out one side a little to fit the release better.
Very easy project, and this can mount to any molle/strap. It holds the release very securely and is almost silent to access.
Just another option for my fellow bow hunters, I feel like this is “better” than the stock side pockets on most bino harnesses since it has the added security of the bungee loop, is much quieter than a zippered pocket.
