Thanks man. The guy who set it up talked to hamskea and there going to send me another one. Start all over and see what we can do. I'll look at that launcher and see. I know the other two weren't bent down or anything. Fingers crossed it all works out

I had some fletching contact initially as well but once I got the timing dialed in it went away. Hoyt nitrum 34 with lower limb attachment. Like Brendan said... try a couple different spots on the limb.

I put felt on the launcher. Prevents premature wear and quiets the rest. Also I don't set them up with the spring. If it stretches in the field your rest is not going to function properly. I set them up similar to how a TT Smackdown attaches. I'll post pics of how to do it tomorrow when I get to the shop. It's a more bulletproof setup and works great.

I'd like to see that because that spring always worries me. If the cord attached to the spring was to ever get snagged and pulled the spring loose on a hunt, I'd be

Ok since guys are asking I'll do a tutorial post on how I set them up. Give me a day or so because I'm slammed at the shop right now.

This is my second launcher. After about 500 shots I'd say. Hopefully the new rest helps out. Idk. We shall see.

Leise88 photos looks like the expected wear... Mine did the same then stopped although it's a little noisy now on draw. I think I will just add felt to quiet.

AllenbOR that is fletching contact

Agree with dreamingbig that once tuned up this rest performance is solid imho

A lot of tuning issues to consider. Nock pinch, Cam timing, nock pt height and rest angle all important. What cam do you have? These Hoyts (defiant dfx cam) had vert nock travel which can be challenging to clear. Unlike older Hoyts some of these Dfx cams need the bottom cam hit slightly ahead to help clean up vert nock issues. Shane Chuning is a great resource if you are having hoyt tuning problems with dfx cam
-agree with other comments about rest timing and needing to adjust
-if you adjust the launcher angle with washers make sure rest still cycles smoothly and doesn't catch.... I had mine maxed for as high as possible at full draw and it was catching.
-make sure launcher is not hitting riser shelf
- make sure quiver mount/quiver is not hitting activation cord
- consider posting issue on Archery Talk...lots of helpful tuners on there (not that rokslide isn't helpful)
-check in with Hamskea.. They are pretty responsive
