Switching to a Spott Hogg double pin this weekend. Torn between a Fast Eddie XL and a Tommy Hogg. Want to get a better peep installed but not sure which size to go with. Figured the 1/4" would be okay with the Fast Eddie XL since its a dovetail mount and can be adjusted to have the peep line up with the housing. My bow is 31.5 ATA and 29.5" draw.

I have the 3/16 Hamskea on my 34"ATA bow and find it to be a bit small. I use a MBG site without the dovetail. My bow is in the shop getting new strings and a new Hamskea 1/4 peep. The ability to adjust the dovetail will probably make the smaller peep work well...

I like a larger peep for the light gathering capability. My peep and sight housing has nothing to do with each other.

I have both sizes, and can't remember which is on the string. The nice thing about that sight is you can change the ring/housing size.

I've used both and I always end up going back to the 3/16" on the Raptor. I prefer the smaller ring but I also shoot and MBG with a standard size guard too.

I originally bought the 3/16 and ended up switching to the 1/8 \. The triple ring design works perfect now. While shooting in the shop range I could see all 3 rings with the low light, but went to an outside range and could only see the most inner ring
- RX3 28 inch draw with the fast eddie out to the 3rd from last dovetail spot.

I have a Spot Hogg Hunter on a dovetail with the MRT ring, and with the sight extended about 2/3rds of the way on the dovetail out, I put a 3/16 Raptor peep in and it fits all three rings perfectly.

I just had a 1/4 raptor installed w new strings. It lasted 2 weeks before I took my bow back and had a 3/16 installed. The 1/4 had too much open ring around my sight housing and I had constant flyers because I wasn’t lined up perfectly. The 3/16 is so much better for me. 28.5” draw with a MBG standard sight housing.
