just throwing ideas out there, with the arrow on the rest and the launcher up how hard is it to push the arrow down? my pro drop rest was set light for my arrow to where most of the time the launcher was fully up but sometimes it would hang up a hair under and cause a flyer. I know you said you haven't tried launcher spring tension so it cant hurt to try more or less. other than that I'm at a loss, maybe try it on a different bow? maybe turn 3 arrows 90* and see if they group better? I cant see it being something you're doing since it doesn't show up with other rest but anything is possible. like I said, just ideas from things I've seen over the years, may or may not be valid to your situation but its always worth a last shot.

can you elaborate on this? you want the tension as light as it can hold an arrow? wish there was a video explaining this. i have no idea if my launcher or tension cord is correct on my trinity.

Well the idea with a blade rest is basically as light of tension as you can get that still works.

You play with the blade thickness, and the angle to manipulate the blade reaction.

Starting to think that I got wrapped up in chasing timing when really it probably had way too much tension from the jump. Just too close to the problem to see it.

I'm going to shoot another few days as it's configured. Today's score wasn't good, so far not seeming to improve anything.

ill be the first to say I am horrible at explaining anything to the point I confuse myself sometimes lol but here goes. basically the spring tension on the launcher arm has to be enough to hold the arrow weight consistently while allowing forgiveness of the arrow oscillation during the shot. how much or how little tension you need isn't set in stone as there are a few variables that affect it. for the most part out of the box rests work fine for the majority of people and setups however with high foc becoming the thing now the tension may have to be adjusted. more weight up front acts as a lever on the launcher and changes the dynamics. If you're having a fine tune issue it may well help to try experimenting with it. the same thing applies to turning the nock 90*, it will change the direction of flex on the arrow therefore changing how the rest sees or reacts to the launch. usually how I do it is if the arrow comes up and you see a bounce its probably to high of tension, if the arrow comes up real slow its usually too little tension.

billy, curious how you are making out. hopefully you got it figured out so you can use the rest for hunting.
