Haines AK freshwater fishing conditions info needed

Headed out in the morning to Haines to try the freshwater salmon fishing. I realized its a bit last minute but any one up to speed on the road and water conditions. Heard that some roads where washed out and water very high. Mostly interested in if the road to the lake is gone- can leave the small boat at home then.
