Ive been on here for a while... mostly to read and find more out on gear. Wasn't much for chiming in before. I started out hunting waterfowl when i was young with my dad and his friends. Then took my first whitetail buck when i was 10 years old. Been a deer hunter ever since. My dad and I had our first out west experience in Idaho in 2017 elk hunting..should have been successful but made mistakes. Went back last year and most likely will try to from here on out. Its amazing in the mountains a much different sight from a flat farm ground guy from Ohio.
