Gunsmith in Southeast (near Mississippi)?

Newbie here, looking for a reputable gunsmith near south Mississippi (or Southeast) for a custom build. Anyone have any recommendations?

Deep South Tactical in Pelahatchie Mississippi is worth a call as well. They just barreled an action for me. Looks great. I’ll update here after I shoot it.

Altus Is in the Florida panhandle near Mississippi.

Bugholes is great! I have semi custom from them that I bought from a member here that is an absolute hammer!

Just curious why it matters what part of the country. Are you trying to avoid shipping costs? Want to visit the 'smith personally?

That makes sense...rookie mistake on my part

i frequently cheat by seeing my smith at matches.

louisana has 600yd benchrest matches.
georgia has 600 yd benchrest matches.
florida has 600 yd matches
memphis is holding the 600 yd nationals this year. if you slip up to the nats you could talk to a lot of guys about their smiths and probably meet many smiths there. even take your rifle and give it to one.

one if the best smiths in the world is moving to florida.

Billy Tierce in Utica is the best gunsmith around that area. Not sure if Billy is still building rifles or just doing smithing work. Second Deep South in Pelahatchie. Also GAP could probably make it.
