Gunsmith for kimber montana

I’d like to get my 308 Montana re barreled with a 20” threaded lilja.

Who would you go to for that?

You might talk to Dave Wells. He used to be a gunsmith for Kimber. I’ve never had him do any work, but I’ve talked with him and he seemed like a reasonable guy.

Another vote for Shaen - he does fantastic work and really quick usually. Great guy to deal with.

Here in Albuquerque but Score High does great work! He put a ACS mag bottom in my Kimber Advanced Tactical and has done other projects Kimber related.

Curious for all the folks getting the Montana's rebarreled... just not getting the accuracy you wanted? or what drove you to want to re-barrel?
(I just bought one in .308 and am loving it so far)

I have no complaints about the factory barrel, I’ve just got a lot of rounds through it, I want a shorter barrel anyways and have the funds to do it. Lilja makes a Kimber specific barrel too.
